Check PA buttons
are not depressed.
External Siren
sounds continuously.
Enter 4 digit
engineer code and
remove the control
panel cover.
Remove the wire
from the TRG-
terminal..
If zone 5 LED is
on, the fault is
within the PA circuit.
(see chart 1)
Enter 4 digit
engineer code and
remove the control
panel cover.
Using a voltmeter
check this is
13 - 14V between
H/O+ & H/O-.
Check TRG- is
programmed for
correct type (SAB or
SCB).
Remove the wire
from the TRG-
terminal.
Ifthereisnoreading
check the Bell Fuse
hasn't blown.
Activate the
relevant detector
Place the removed
wire on the H/O-
terminal. The siren
should sound.
If voltage reads OK,
the fault is likely to
be within the siren
External siren will
not trigger when
performing a Bell
Test.
external siren sounds

If the siren did not
sound check
connections at the
siren
If the connections
are OK the fault is
likely to be within the
siren.
External siren stops.
If the siren triggered
OK the fault is likely
to be within the
control panel.
Ensure that the
system is in the
unset mode.
